Mrs. Mubarak opens services complex in Alexandria

Egypt's First Lady Suzanne Mubarak, Chairperson of the Integrated Care Society, is due to open next month a complex for social services in Al-Seyuf, Alexandria. The complex is financed by the integrated Care Society branch in Alexandria.
The complex includes a library for children, and another for grown ups and a computer center that has 25 computers. The center trains 552 trainees and is financed by the Social Fund For Development.
The complex has also a cottage industry center. It provides chance to young girls and ladies to gain skills in order to increase their income.
The complex contains also a kinder garden with four classes of 30 students each at the age of 3 years.
Meantime, Mrs. Suzanne Mubarak will chair the Egyptian delegation to the un extraordinary session on children affairs 19-21 September. 75 Presidents and Heads of State will take part in the session, the largest on children.
The UN General Assembly will review the achievements of childcare and protection since the first Children Summit in 1990. The children affairs session aims at reaching strategies to solve the difficulties that affect children in the world.
