Morocco-Regional, Culture, 8/18/2001
Some 100 African students from 36 African countries will undertake August 19-22 a discovery and prospecting journey throughout Morocco.
The Morocco-Africa Friendship Caravan, to depart from Rabat, is sponsored by the confederation of African pupils, students and trainees in Morocco (CESAM), in cooperation with the Moroccan agency for international cooperation.
The students, who are attending Moroccan universities and high schools and who are spending the summer holidays in Morocco, will visit Casablanca, Marrakesh, Agadir and Essaouira.
The aim of the trip is to provide opportunity to these foreign students to get acquainted with Moroccan traditions and with the kingdom's natural, cultural and tourism assets, the organizers said.
