Al-Assad heads for Kuwait today at the invitation of prince Jaber al-Ahmad al-Sabah

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad heads today to the state of Kuwait in a visit that comes at the invitation of the Kuwaiti prince Sheikh Jaber al-Ahmad al-Sabah during which he will be making talks with the ruler of Kuwait and high ranking Kuwaiti officials.
The President is accompanied by an official delegation including the foreign minister Farouk al-Shara, the minister of the economy and foreign trade Muhammad al-Imadi and Syria's ambassador to Kuwait Ahmad Issa.
