Bloody confrontation in Sudanese university over political disputes

The Sudanese al-Jazira university on Thursday witnessed bloody confrontations resulted in killing one student and wounding 18 three of them are in critical health conditions.
The Sudanese daily al-Share' al-Seyasi ( political street) said on Friday that some of the students burnt parts of the university's offices and laboratories following these clashes which erupted because of political discussions among the students.
The university summoned the police which controlled the situation.
Worthy mentioning that several Sudanese universities have recently witnessed acts of violence, destruction and obstruction of studying in many faculties as a result of political conflict among political trends.
