Al-Assad visits Kuwait tomorrow

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad will tomorrow ( Saturday) start a visit to Kuwait falls in the course of a tour on the Arab Gulf states that will last for several days on top of a high ranking delegation.

During his visit to Kuwait which is his first after he assumed power in Syria, the Syrian President will discuss bilateral relations and issues of mutual concern.

A Kuwaiti diplomatic source in Damascus said that the visit of President al-Assad to Kuwait which will last for two days falls in the course of strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries in all fields.

The source added that President Bashar al-Assad will meet with the Kuwaiti crown prince and prime minister Sheikh Saad Abdullah al-Sabah and high ranking Kuwaiti officials to discuss latest developments in the region with the escalation of the Israeli aggressions.

The Kuwaiti source praised the deep peoples and political ties between the two countries, hoping that this visit will yield fruitful results.
