The Palestinian President Yasser Arafat on Thursday underwent medical tests in Amman before he returned back to the Palestinian territories that his health condition " is good."

Nerve doctor, who was the minister of health in Jordan, Ashraf al-Kurdi, who supervises on Arafat's medical treatment said that " President Arafat made comprehensive medical tests that revealed his health is good and that he is active," adding that the " great efforts he has been exerting in these difficult conditions and high morale are the best evidence on that."

Al-Kurdi, who is considered Arafat's personal friend and supervises his health condition regularly since the 1980 s, indicated that medical tests showed that " there is no change on the results of his medical tests in comparison to his health conditions in the past."
