Ankara calls on Israel to return back Orient House to the Palestinians

Turkey on Wednesday called on the Israeli authorities to return back " very soon" the Orient House, the almost official headquarters for the PLO in East Jerusalem to the Palestinians.
A statement issued by the Turkish foreign ministry said that it is clear that the closure of the Orient House will not contribute to establishing " optimum exchanged confidence atmospheres." The statement added " we hope the Palestinian will restore the Orient House very soon and appropriate conditions will be settled so as the Palestinian establishments will resume activities in East Jerusalem.
