News reports on Wednesday said that different clashes took place on Wednesday in Gaza between the Palestinians and the Israeli forces and stressed that hundreds of Israeli tanks and armored vehicles imposed a strong besiege on Jenin, Hebron, Bethlehem, Beit Sahour, Beit Jala and areas surrounding these towns.

The Kuwaiti embassy in Damascus said in an exclusive statement to the Jordanian paper al-Dostour denied on Wednesday that the timing in which works of the Syrian- Kuwaiti committee in Damascus just one day after the end of similar works for the Syrian- Iraqi committee to have any links to Syrian mediation efforts between Kuwait and Iraq, noting that the timing of holding the meeting had been decided since a long time ago.
