Water project in Jordan

The Jordanian government has announced an international bid to implement a water project of bringing al-Deisi waters in the southern part of Jordan to the capital Amman and several other Jordanian cities at an estimated cost of 600 million Jordanian Dinars.
The Jordanian ministry of waters and irrigation set the end of next October as the last date to receive the international bids for this project.
The Jordanian minister of waters and irrigation Hazem al-Naser said in press statements on Wednesday that this strategic project which will take four years to be completed aims at providing Amman with 100 million cubic meters of drinking waters every year.
