Handball: African championship in Rabat in April 2002

The 15th edition of the Africa Nations handball championship will be held in Rabat in April 2002 in the Moroccan capital city of Rabat.
A statement by the Moroccan royal handball federation said the agreement to hold the championships in Morocco was signed Monday evening by the federation chairman, Abdelmoumen El Jaouhari, and the secretary general of the African handball confederation, Mansour Arimou.
Moroccan minister of youth and sports, Ahmed Moussaoui, who attended the signing ceremony, said his department will spare no effort to ensure success to the continental event.
