Sudan regrets new incidents in Somalia

Sudan has expressed regret over the incidents that recently took place in Kesmayu district in central Joba and Osaso city, Bnout Land and Bedawa in Somalia and called on all sides to abide by the principle of dialogue and to keep apart from fighting and settle differences by peaceful means.
In a statement, the Sudanese foreign ministry said that Sudan will continue to follow up closely conditions in Somalia due to the fraternal, historical and cultural ties between the two countries and the collective efforts to establish peace in it as well to rebuilding it. This came as Sudan is authorized, according to the decision of the IGAD's 8th summit decision recently held in Khartoum by the end of 2000 to work together with the countries adjoining Somalia to achieved stability and unity for Somalia.
