Libya, EU for boosting relations

The assistant secretary for cooperation affairs in the people's general committee for foreign relations and international cooperation ( foreign ministry) Saeed Mujber on Monday evening in Tripoli discussed with the delegation representing the European parliament cooperation relations between Libya and the European parliament and means of supporting and developing them.

The European delegation underlined the importance of the European role in the efforts to make the Mediterranean region a lake of peace. Members of the delegation expressed appreciation for the efforts made by the Libyan leadership to establish the African federation.

On the other hand, Mujber met with the Indonesian parliament delegation before it left Libya on Monday and discussed with its chairman means of strengthening bilateral relations and regional and international issues of mutual concern.
