Continued Israeli pressures on the Palestinian Authority
Palestine-Israel, Politics, 8/14/2001

Israel on Monday tried to practice political and international pressures on the Palestinian Authority claiming that the PA has recently released three activists from the Palestinian resistance movement ( Hamas) believed to have taken part in operations against Israel.

In a statement, the Israeli cabinet said that the three activists were released by the PA are Qasem Nazal, Ibrahim Dahmas, and Rahman Dawoud and all of them from Qalqilya district to the northern west of the West Bank and belong to the military wing of the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas.

The Israeli cabinet considered the release of the three Palestinians as a reason behind increasing the possibility of new " suicide operations" in Israel especially with the announcement made by the Palestinian national resistance ( Hamas) and the Islamic Jihad movements claiming responsibility for most of the operations carried out against Israel.
