Visits to training center of Suez Oil Processing Company

Egyptian Prime Minister Atef Ebeid Sunday visited also the training center of the Suez Company for Processing Oil and met with members of the board of the "Future Generation" Society. He was briefed on future plans of the society which were presented by Gamal Mubarak, Chairman of the Society.
Gamal Mubarak said that the society, which was set up two and a half years ago, aims at serving youth. It is priority of the government to develop the human resources and fight unemployment and open new fields to employ youth.
He said that the society has completed the training of 5,000 young people and the number will be raised to 10,000 annually.
Prime Minister Atef Ebeid said that the Minister of Communications in collaboration with a South East Asia company to set up a computer factory to be sold at a low price.
The company offered to set up the factory with a minimum annual capacity of 100,0000 computers which will bring the price of the set down to 1100 pounds compared to the minimum price at present of 3500 pounds per set.
Computers to be produced by the company will be installed in schools, universities, government agencies and training centers he said.
Ebeid said that the government will announce within days a plan to train 300,000 young people every year to prepare, them to enter the labour market.
