New suicide operation near Haifa

A Palestinian youth carried out a " suicide operation" in " wall street " restaurant near Kreyat Motskin settlement in Haifa resulted in wounding 15 Israelis.

The Islamic Jihad movement claimed responsibility for the operation, noting that the Palestinians Muhammad Mahmoud Baker Naser ( 28 year old) from Qabatia town exploded himself in Wall Street restaurant in the settlement in retaliation to the crimes committed by the Israelis against the Palestinians.

On Sunday morning the Israeli forces broke into the branch of the Palestinian telecommunications company in Abu Deis, near Jerusalem and closed it after expelling its employees, while other Palestinian forces broke into al-Qarrara town near Khan Younis and imposed a military siege on the city of Hebron (al-Khalil).

In Rafah, three Palestinians were wounded as a result of the Israeli military bombardment which targeted al-Brazil quarters and Balouk camp and greatly damaged ten houses. Several Arab citizens were wounded as a result of the bombardment of Khan Younis while strong confrontations took place between the Israeli forces and the Palestinians in front of " the Orient House" in Jerusalem, which was occupied by the Israeli forces on Friday.

News reports said that four Palestinians were wounded in these demonstrations which were oppressed strongly by the Israeli forces. Among the wounded was member of the Palestinian legislative council Hatem Abdul Qader, whose chest bones were broken. The Israeli forces intensified its military presence in the region and prevented the Palestinians from entering the " Orient House."

Meantime, the Israeli minister of the Interior Ozi Landao said that Israel will perpetuate its occupation of the " Orient House for ever," adding that the Israeli laws, as the Israeli sovereignty will be implemented for ever on Beit al - Sharq ( Orient House) to prevent any activity for the Palestinians in Jerusalem.

Meanwhile, the Israeli foreign minister Shimon Peres asked his government to start a dialogue with the chairman of the Palestinian Authority Yasser Arafat. He admitted that the current Israeli policy towards the Palestinians can not continue.
