Al-Shara gets telephone calls from Moussa, al-Khatib

Syrian foreign minister Farouk al-Shara on Sunday received a telephone call from the secretary general of the Arab League (AL) Amr Moussa during which discussions dealt with developments of conditions in the region and the need of revitalizing the joint Arab action in confrontation of the policy of escalation pursued by the government of Sharon against the Palestinians.
Al-Shara also received a similar telephone call from the Jordanian Foreign minister Abdul Illah al-Khatib during which consultations centered on conditions in the region and "the policy of repression and provocation conducted by Israel against the Palestinians."
