Al-Qaddafi invites for attending al-Fateh's celebrations

Well-informed sources in Khartoum said that the Libyan President Mu'ammar al-Qaddafi extended an invitation to both the Sudanese government and opposition to attend the Libyan celebrations on September 1st ( which marks al-Qaddafi's assuming power in Libya on September 1st, 1969,).

The sources did not rule out that al-Qaddafi will bring together the Sudanese sides at bilateral or collective levels in order to push forward the peaceful settlement through the joint Egyptian- Libyan initiative.

Leader of al-Ummah party al-Sadeq al-Mahdi, in seminar by the party, called on the Sudanese political forces to mobilize all " our masses" so as the democratic change will be materialized into action. He indicated that separation between the north and the south has become a reality with all its political, economic and moral dimensions, noting the need of realizing this fact to move forward towards unity, stressing that his party had accepted the principles of self - determination in being the only option.
