Commander of US forces in the Gulf visits Yemen on Tuesday

The Yemeni News Agency said that the commander of the US fifth fleet, stationed in the Gulf region Tommy Franc will visit Sanaa next Tuesday in the first visit of an American military commander for Yemen since the attack took place against the US warship "USS Cole" on October 12 in Aden.
The agency quoted the Yemeni " September 26 " paper which is issued by the Yemeni ministry of defense that " the US military commander will hold talks with the Yemeni officials on bilateral relations between the two countries especially fields of military and security co-operation and means of developing them." Talks will also deal with certain regional and international developments of mutual concern."
