32 Arab and foreign countries in the 48th session of Damascus International Fair

Some 32 Arab and foreign countries are taking part in the 48th session of the Damascus International Fair (DIF), including Oman for the first time.

Following a long time of absence, Holland, Germany, Italy and Indonesia are taking part in the activities of the Fair. His very participation has a political significance. Number of the participating economic companies and establishments has increased by 20% representing 225 companies.

Number of Syrian national companies inside the Syrian pavilion increased greatly. A matter that the DIF establishment was obliged to minimize the areas allocated inside the pavilion for each participating company.

On the other hand the artistic activities held in parallel to the DIF for this year started on Tuesday by a show for " al-Shaam mosaic" of al- Shaam artistic troupe which was also re-shown on Wednesday. Today and on Saturday, the renowned Syrian singer Sabah Fakhri will give to singing evenings.

Also the renowned Egyptian actor Adel Imam will be the guest of the eventful artistic program in three shows for his famous play " the body guard." Besides Arab and foreign artistic bands will be also seen until the end of September.
