Israel warns against heading to Egypt, Jordan
Israel-Regional, Politics, 8/9/2001
The Israeli foreign ministry on Tuesday addressed a new warning for the Israelis against heading to Jordan or Egypt following the killing of an Israeli in Amman.
A spokesman for the Israeli foreign ministry Emanuel Nahshoun said in a statement that the Israelis who visit Jordan, Egypt or any other Arab state have to take necessary protective measures towards dangers they are facing.
In a televised interview the assistant director general of the Israeli foreign ministry Yuwaf Beiran recommended not to head for Jordan or any other Arab country.
On the other hand, a Jordanian bride refused to enter her wedding hall after she saw the US-made soft drinks on the hall's tables, as these products are in the list of the boycotted American goods.
Despite the attempts by the bridegroom to convincing her to enter the hall, yet, the bride refused to enter before clearing the American products and thus the bridegroom and the guests removed the drinks. Then the bride was welcomed with great applause and one of the guests bought local Jordanian drinks for free as an appreciation from him to the bride.
