Chinese official lauds Mubarak's efforts to establish stability

A prominent Chinese official Monday lauded President Hosni Mubarak's efforts to achieve stability in the region. The Foreign Ministry West Asia and North Africa Department director said he listened to Egypt's ambassador to China Mohamed No'aman Galal's explanation of the current situation in the region.
The ambassador handed the Chinese official an invitation from economy minister Youssef Boutros Ghali to the Chinese State council adviser to visit Egypt in October.
