A monument for the victims of Sabra, Shatilla and Deir Yassin

In an initiative which is the first of its kind by the Arab league, the General secretariat of the Arab League (AL) will open a bid and a competition for a monument for the martyrs and victims of the Sabra, Shatilla and Deir Yassin massacres.
News reports stressed that the secretary general of the Arab League Amr Moussa is to take measures to debate this competition to Arab artists.
The reports added that the AL chief is thinking of the place where this statue will be placed so as to reflect the volume of the crimes and massacres committed by the Israelis against the Palestinians for several decades since the foundation of Israel on the remains of the Palestinians.
