Africa's Basketball championship: Morocco, Algeria head their groups

The Moroccan and Algerian basketball teams took the lead of their respective groups at the end of the first day of Africa's basketball championships held in Morocco August 4-12.
In the first group, Morocco, which won Mozambique 78 to 57, is taking the lead over Egypt, winner of Cote d'Ivoire (83-81), and Tunisia, winner of Mali (77-76).
In the second group, Algeria is ranking first after it crashed South Africa 76-46. Nigeria is coming next after it defeated Senegal 80-65, and the title holder, Angola, is ranking third after a win over the Central African Republic 71-57.
This Monday, Morocco will play Cote D'Ivoire, Egypt will play Mali while Tunisia will play Mozambique. In the second group, Senegal will be opposed to Central Africa, Nigeria to South Africa and Algeria to Angola.
