Reporters without frontiers condemn Israeli attack on Egyptian TV correspondent

Reporters without frontiers (RSF) decided to submit an official protest to Israeli officials condemning the attack on Egyptian News sector correspondent Tarek Abdel-Gaber.
Furthermore "RSF" will hold a press conference on Monday in Jerusalem and will be attended by a number of Foreign Journalists and correspondents who were attacked while on duty.
RSF, meanwhile, called for initiating out an official investigation into Abdel-Gaber accident stressing that apology is not enough specially that he carries International Journalists card and is a member in the foreign reporters club.
Furthermore, Egyptian embassy sent a strongly worded message to Israeli officials condemning this behaviour.
On the other hand, Palestinian Leader Yasser Arafat dispatched Palestinian Presidency secretary General Al-Tayeb Abdel-Rehim to inquire after the health condition of Abdel-Gaber.
Arafat said that any prejudice against correspondent who works in Palestinian lands is considered a prejudice against the Palestinian people.
