Turks called for trying Sharon as a war criminal

Several Turks who name themselves as "the group of solidarity with the Palestinian people" submitted an official notification to the Turkish ministry of justice in which they described the Israeli prime minister Ariel Sharon as a " war criminal " and called in their notification to arrest Sharon upon his arrival at Ankara's airport on August 7th.
The spokesman for the group Helmi Oztouk and the representative of the "Lawyers liberal society" said that the group submitted another notification in which it called for arresting the Turkish Prime Minister Polent Acawit because he will host Sharon during his visit to Turkey.
He said that the Turkish ministry of justice, according to the laws received the two notifications and will answer them within the few coming days and after the visit of Sharon.
The Turkish spokesman continued that they will "organize several demonstration of denunciation against Sharon's visit," noting that "Sharon's visit will not be accepted by any Turkish citizen who sees the massacres committed by the Israelis against the Muslim Palestinian people."
