Bin Saleh concludes a visit to Iran

The chairman of the Algerian National Society ( parliament) Abdul Qader Bin Saleh has held talks in Tehran with the Iranian President Muhammad Khatami. During the meeting Khatami stressed that the " boycott of relations between Iran and Algeria " will be only beneficiary for the enemies of the two peoples and countries.

On the other hand, the Iranian President responded positively to the invitation extended by the Algerian President Abdul Aziz Butaflika to pay an official visit to Algeria, stressing that he will hold this visit in the near future."

The Iranian radio quoted Bin Saleh as saying hat he hopes to " develop relations between the two countries." Before leaving Iran, Bin Saleh said that his talks with the Iranian officials were " fruitful." He added at Tehran's airport that " the visit has important results in order to strengthening our relations."
