Saudi Arabia: Iraq's accusations towards the refugees are not true

Saudi Arabia on Wednesday denied accusations addressed by the Iraqi foreign ministry to the kingdom over committing " inhumanitarian and immoral acts " agains the Iraqi refugees in Saudi Arabia, stressing that these accusations are lies.

In a statement broadcast by the Saudi news agency, an official source at the Saudi ministry of defense and aviation said " the statements made by the Iraqi foreign ministry are groundless and the first to know this fact are the Iraqi refugees themselves."

He added that "what the saudi government has given to the Iraqi refugees is great care that is highly apperciated by the Iraqi refugees themselves." He indicated tha the working staff of the UNHCR are always with the Iraqi refugees. He stressed that the " Iraqi refugees are free to return back to Iraq at any time or to settle in any country that wants to settle them through the UNHCR which is in charge of this matter."
