Naser describes her visit to Turkey as positive

The Syrian deputy foreig miniser Mrs Siba Nasser has stressed that the talks she held in Ankara with Turkish officials were useful and good.

In statements to the press she made in Ankara on Thursday she said that the talks she held dealt with bilateral relations between Syria and Turkey and the mechanism of revitalizing them, and regional conditions especially the Middle East peace process.

Mrs Naser also explained Syria's evaluation of the current conditions and the situation of the ME peace "because of the acts of oppression conducted by the Israeli government in the occupied Palestinian territories and the manuevers made by the Israeli prime minister to obstruct peace prospects."
