Under the title " Israel will attack Iran from the Turkish territories," the Turkish daily al-Sharq al-Awsat said on Wednesday that Israel which bombarded the Iraqi nuclear installations in 1981, will strike Iranian nuclear bases and this time from the Turkish territories.

The Turkish paper quoted Turkish military sources as saying that Israel does not have long- range warplane and that Israel is obliged to sign a contract with Turkey if it wants to strike the Iranian nuclear installations and positions.

The Turkish daily also indicated the embargo imposed by the Israeli authorities on its mass media with the objective of not publishing news relating to the visits held by the Israeli officials to Ankara under the pretext of preserving its strategic interets. The Turkish paper continued that the comment made by the Israeli daily Haartez on Israel's embargo on dealing with sensitive matters, is in itself an indication on the imporance of the talks held by the Israeli defense minister Benjamin Bin Aleazer, and the Israeli army chief of staff Shaoul Moufaz during their visits to Turkey, as well as the talks that Israel's prime minister Ariel Sharon will hold on August 8 when he will visit Ankara.

The paper indicated that the Israeli and Turksih oficials agreed to carry out joint land maneuvers, but its date has not fixed yet, noting that if such manuevers will be carried out, it will be then the first time in which Israel sends land forces to such remote areas ( like Turkey).

The Turkish daily quoted the Israeli daily Jerusalem post as saying that the two sides intelligence reports indicate that the Shehab 44 missiles which Iran continues to develop will be able to strike both of Israel and Turkey, especially the range of these missiles is 2000 Km and will be more dangerious with the fall of the year 2005 when Iran will be able to reach nuclear production and processing.

The paper concluded that the Turkish and Israeli intelligence agreed to exchange information relating to Islamic terrorist organizations. N.
