Some 82 Jordanians arrested under curroption charges

Jordanian official sources announced the suspension of 82 persons and bringing them before the court under curroption charges especially in misusing their posts, and bribing charges in both the private and the public sectors in Jordan.

The director of the corruption fighting department at the Jordanian public intelligence Ziad al-Shareida said in a press conference held for that purpose that his directorate was able to foil an attempt by one of the international gangs to boost and use " false credit cards" and that members of this gang were arrested.

He added that another group involves in falsifying work licences were also arrested over using false stamps for the Jordanian ministry of the Justice.

He continued that it was found out that one company working in the field of mediation at Amman's bank-note market had sold the shares of its clients and allocate their sums in special accounts to cover the financial discrepancy the company suffers.
