Egyptian parties call for boycutting relations with Israel

The largest four opposition parties in Egypt have called on the Egyptian government to cut diplomatic relations with Israel and to immediately call for convening an urgent Arab summit to discuss the events of the " alleged Haikal." A statement released by heads of the Egyptian opposition parties of al-Wafd, al-Tajamu ( the coalition), the Naserite and the Labor said that " Zionist practices are but a continuity of Zionist crimes against every an Arab and Muslim," calling on all Arab and Muslim peoples to counter these crimes.

The heads of the party stressed that the attempt to building al-Haikal al-Thalith ( the third Haikal) in the courtyard of al-Aqsa mosque constitutes a threat to the Arab national security. A matter which requires the convening of an urgent Arab summit up to the level of the event.

The statement also called on the Arab defense council to meet and also to convene another meeting for the defense ministers in Egypt, Syria, Iraq and Saudi Arabia to take necessary and urgent measures to support Arab defense and all these to be coupled with contacts with Iran to maintain close relations between the Arab and Islamic worlds.

Besides the call to sever diplomatic relations with Israel, heads of the Egyptian parties called on all people's organizations to take effective measures to resist normalization and boycott the American and Israeli goods.
