International denunciation of the Israeli massacre

The massacre committed by Israel in Nablus claiming the lives of eight Palestinians including two children has evoked highly resounding reactions.

In Washington, the US administration addressed unusual criticism to Israel considering the Israeli offensive as dangerous escalation of violence.

On its part, Moscow denounced the Israeli massacre warning against excessive use by Israel of force on the part of Israel.

Britain condemned the Israeli massacre saying it could not accept assassination by Israel of Palestinian figures.

Turkey condemned the Israeli killing of eight Palestinians including two children in Nablus on Tuesday and called on Israel to refrain from excessive use of force.

In a statement by "the Foreign Ministry late Wednesday, Turkey said that the attack did not serve efforts for easing the already-volatile situation.

It added that the attack would have international reactions and increase tension as well as Palestinians' resentment.

Turkey expects Israel to stop immediately the use of excessive force, said the statement. It added that they only way for breaking the cycle of violence was the resumption of negotiations.
