Equatorial Guinea president visits oil-refining plant

Equatorial Guinea's president, Teodore Obiang Nguema, on Sunday toured the Moroccan oil-refining company (SAMIR) in Mohammadia (60 km south of Rabat) at the invitation of the company's major shareholder "Corral International Holding."
Nguema, who attended in Morocco the throne day festivities marking the second anniversary of King Mohammed VI's enthronement, was accompanied by a group of ministers and journalists. He was briefed on the company's investment program and the international group structure and activities.
The delegation also visited the technical facilities of the oil-refining plant.
Nguema left Morocco on Wednesday.
