Egyptian investors intend to hold projects in al-Aqaba private district

The chairman of the private economic al-Aqaba district commissions board Aqil Beltaji has stressed that Arab businessmen and investors are to hold various investment projects in the " private area," with the aim to benefit from the competition and investment environment in Jordan, especially in al-Aqaba.
In statements to the press, the Jordanian official said that Egyptian businessmen started to take necessary measures in order to make investments in the special economic zone, noting that the well- known Egyptian investor Muhammad Abu al-Eynin and his brother Khaled stressed determination to establish several factories in al-Aqaba on garments industry as well as building a comprehensive tourism village.
Beltaji indicated that the forthcoming investments in that area came, thanks to the efforts made by the Jordanian King and his care to improve the economic conditions through attracting Arab and foreign investments, noting that the initiative of the Egyptian investors came following their recent visit to Amman at the invitation of the Jordanian King Abdulllah II.
