Ode denies to have embraced Shiite sect

Ode Saddam Hussein, the elder son of the Iraqi President Saddam Hussein has denied what has been rumored that he had embraced the Shiite sect.
The Iraqi daily " Babel " quoted on Wednesday Ode as saying " I am still embracing the Sunni Shafee" sect and did not and will not change my sect." He stressed that the good is to follow the sect my father and family embracing.
Ode added that it is well-known that the Shafee sect is the closest to the Jaafarite sect which includes " our people of the Shiite sect." The statement of the elder son of the Iraqi President who supervises the said paper came as comments on news issued by the British daily " the Guardian" and the BBC that he embraced the Shiite sect in order to win the support of the Shiite sect who constitute the majority of people in Iraq.
