Israel will not take part in Turkish military production exhibition

Israel has decided not to take part in the military processing exhibition to produce weapons due to be held in Ankara in September. The Turkish daily al-Zamaan ( the Times) quoted a Turkish military expert as saying that one of the reasons that led to Israel's withdrawal from the exhibition might be the offer it ( Israel ) proposed to modernize Turkish tanks of " M60, M48 and M80 " type and opposed by the US on the ground that the US is that the country which sells these tanks to Turkey and does not want the interference of a third party.
The expert added that despite the recent slowness in the Turkish- Israeli relations, it is very early to conclude that these relations have taken negative dimensions.
