Algerian judge assassinated

Investigation judge at Um al-Bawaqi court of the Southern East of Algiers was assassinated on Sunday evening in front of a false barrier installed by gunmen in the area.
The Algerian dailies issued on Monday said that one man accompanying the judge was also killed.
The dailies added that the Algerian army during the few past days carried out a vast mopping up operation in Seidi Ali Bu Naab woods in Teizi Ozo district of the greater al-Qabael area to the East of the capital Algiers.
