Meantime, the Israeli minister of tourism Rahabham Zeifi called on his government to reoccupy the areas supervised by the Palestinian Authority. He added it is now time to make the Palestinian authority understand that Israel will not give up ( what he called) any concessions, in remarks to the territories of the West Bank and that the most that Israel can give to the Palestinians is to let them live in an atmosphere he called " an atmosphere of calm." Zeifi admitted that all initiatives, recommendations and documents which talked about the possibility of Israel's withdrawal from certain area or news on dismembering certain settlements are just to " throw ashes on the eye." He continued that laying the foundation stone for the third Haikal is an additional step in the right way. He expressed his hope that the Israelis will be able to build the Haikal very soon.

The Palestinian teenagers threw bombs at the Israeli position near Rafah and fired shells at Kfar daroum to the south of Gaza and Natsareim, while Israeli sources admitted that 28 bombs were thrown at an Israeli position in Rafah.
To this effect, the secretary general of the Fatah movement Marwan al-Barghouthi stressed continued resistance until the Israeli occupation forces are taken out of the occupied territories. He considered that the assassination of 6 Palestinian youths by the Israeli army will be paid heavily by the government of Sharon.
For his part, Arafat's advisor Nabil Abu Rudinah condemned the Israeli new crime against the 6 Palestinians and called on the international community to shoulder its responsibilities towards halting the aggression against the Palestinian people.
