Arafat in an Arab tour for convening an Arab summit

The advisor for the chairman of the Palestinian Authority Yasser Arafat, Nabil Abu Rudinah, has announced that Arafat on Monday started an Arab tour in order to mobilize the Arab position to convening an urgent Arab summit to withstand the Israeli military escalation.
Abu Rudinah said that Arafat starts his Arab tour by visiting Tunisia to discuss the possibility of convening the summit and that he will discuss with the leaders and presidents with whom he will meet the grave situation in the Palestinian territories.
Meantime, the Palestinian official in charge of planning and international cooperation at the Palestinian territories said that Arafat will meet in his tour with the leaders of Egypt, Jordan, Morocco, Tunisia and Algeria in order to discuss the possibility of convening an Arab summit that can lay new foundations to dealing with Israel's attempts to impose hegemony and impose de facto.
Shaath indicated that there is a proposal to convene a mini summit to be convened quickly and take prompt and decisive decisions comply with what the Palestinians and their shrines are imposed.
