AL chief gets a message from Arafat

The secretary general of the Arab League (AL)Amr Moussa on Monday in Cairo received a message from the chairman of the Palestinian Authority Yasser Arafat on current developments in the occupied Palestinian territories in light of the attacks carried out by the Israeli occupation forces on Sunday at the courtyard of al- Aqsa mosque against the Palestinians.
In a statement, an official source at the AL said that Arafat briefed the AL chief on the extent of the deterioration of conditions in the occupied Palestinian territories as a result of attempts made by Zionist settlers to lay the foundation stone for what is called " the new Haikal" and the resulted consequences of grave Israeli attacks caused great human casualties among the Palestinians.
