Disclosing Israeli lies

Palestinian cameraman Talal Abu Rahma, who shot the famous Mohamed al-Dorra death film, stressed that Al-Dorra was killed in cold blood.

In an interview with Al-Ahrar newspaper after being honored in the Cairo Radio and Television Festival, Abu Rahma said that he filmed the soldier who killed al-Dorra leaving the area, adding that the little boy was a target of different weapons and a lot of bullets for 45 minutes.

I shot many films after the death of al-Dorra. One of them was of a Palestinian car running in Met Sarin area. The driver did not know that the Israeli soldiers dug many ditches in the street. The car fell into one of the ditches. Another film was of a Palestinian young man who was throwing stones against the Israeli soldiers. Suddenly, they shot him dead, he said.

Many people think that filming such scenes is a sort of success. However, I am very sad, how can I be happy with such scenes and anger? he noted.

As for killing Al Dorra, Abu Rahma confirmed that he was shot in cold blood adding that the Israeli soldiers' aim was leaving no one alive and burning the whole area. The battle was not fair at all. Al Dorra and his father were armless. The bullets blowup the boy's stomach, leaving him dead and his father injured.

The Israelis were trying to terrify the whole area. They fired 45 bullets around the boy and his father, many other bullets found their target to the boys little body.

The death of the new-born Iman Hejjo was not taken the same way as that of al-Dorra since the audience saw her after her death. As for al-Dorra, the camera recorder the accident from the beginning to the very end. The world saw him alive, horrified, shot, bleeding then dead. It was a scene of human situations of life and death in 45 minutes, Abu Rahma elaborated.

Abu Rahma said that he gained a lot as he delivered a message to the whole and a proof condemning the atrocity of the Israeli occupying forces.

As a matter of fact, the Palestinian TV. Provided me full protection. I refused to speak directly with the Israelis before consulting the French TV, he said.
