Emir of Bahrain starts visit to Morocco

The Emir of Bahrain, Sheikh Hamad Ben Issa Al Khalifa, arrived in Tangiers this Saturday for a two-day official visit.
The Bahraini ruler was welcomed at the Ibn Batouta airport by King Mohammed VI and Prince Moulay Rachid.
Sheikh Hamad Ben Issa Al-Khalifa will hold talks with king Mohammed VI and attend a dinner banquet hosted in his honor by the Moroccan sovereign
The visit is taking place as the two states' high joint commission will hold its first session in Tangier next Sunday, under the co-chairmanship of the two countries' foreign ministers.
Bahrain is currently holding the chairmanship of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) which also musters Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the united Arab Emirates.
