German diplomat kidnapped in Yemen

Armed men on Friday kidnapped a German diplomat in the embassies quarters in Sanaa.
News reports quoted an official in the Yemeni police as saying that unidentified gunmen on Friday morning kidnapped the third secretary and the commercial attache in the German embassy Stevan Meseriere in the " Embassies quarters " in Sanaa, adding that the police cordoned the place and started search operations in an attempt to find the kidnappers or to define the place where they do hide.
The German embassy in Sanaa refused to make any comment on the kidnapping operation.
