Some 40 tons of the UAE aid to the Palestinians

A United Arab Emirates UAE plane loading 40 tons of medical supplies and foodstuffs landed on Thursday at Amman's airport in its way to the areas of the Palestinian territories.
Member of the UAE Red Crescent society Muhammad al-Rumeithi said that " this shipment is considered part of the air bridge installed by the UAE through Jordan to support the Palestinians in the Palestinian areas in confrontation of the Israeli occupation forces."
He added that this shipment " which is at a cost of 2 million UAE Dirham ( USD half a million) is the outcome of donation collected by the UAE charity societies to support the Palestinian people and alleviate their daily sufferings." He said that in collaboration with Jordan, the UAE established a field hospital in Ramullah in the West bank " treating for free some 400 patients every day." Besides the hospital of Sheikh Zayed in Ramullah and several other medical centers in the Palestinian territories.
