Miro confers with Iraqi minister of al-Awqaf

The prime minister Muhammad Mustafa Miro on Thursday received the Iraqi minister of al-Awqaf ( Islamic trusts) Abdul Menem Ahmad Saleh and members of the accompanying delegation.
Present at the meeting were the al-Awqaf minister Muhammad Zeyadah and the chairman of the Iraqi interests department in Damascus Rifaat al-Ani.
Saleh conveyed to Miro greetings of the Iraqi vice President Taha Yassin Ramadan and Miro asked Saleh to convey reply greetings to the Iraqi vice President.
Discussions dealt with cooperation relations and means of strengthening them in various economic, trade and cultural areas so as to serve the interests of the two "brotherly" states and peoples.
