Throne day official ceremonies to be held in Tangier, Tetuan

The official ceremonies marking Throne Day that celebrates this year the second anniversary of the enthronement of Morocco's King Mohammed VI will be held in the northern cities of Tangier and Tetuan.
A statement by the ministry of the royal household, protocol and chancellery said King Mohammed VI will chair on Monday morning (July 30) a function at the Marshan palace in Tangier and the Throne Day speech will be aired on the radio and TV channels at midday (12h00 GMT).
In the evening, the princesses will host a dinner banquet in honor of ladies.
On Tuesday July 31, the sovereign, Supreme Chief, Chief of the general staff of the Royal Armed Forces (FAR), will chair at the royal palace in Tetuan over the oath-taking ceremony of officers who graduated this year from various Moroccan military and civilian schools and institutes. The sovereign will afterwards chair over a luncheon at the Royal Guard Mess, hosted by the FAR general staff.
In the afternoon, King Mohammed VI will chair at the royal palace in Tetuan over the Beia (allegiance) ceremony crowning the throne day festivities and wherein the minister of the interior and the walis and governors of Moroccan provinces and prefectures renew to the sovereign their oath of allegiance.
The king, accompanied by the princes, will chair Wednesday evening over a dinner banquet at the royal palace in Tetuan.
