AL for attaining reconciliation in Sudan

The secretary general of the Arab League (AL) Amre Mousa discussed on Tuesday in Cairo with the secretary general of the people's committee for African Unity in Libya Ali Abdul Salaam al-Tureiki latest developments of the efforts made to achieve national reconciliation in Sudan, in light of the Egyptian- Libyan initiative.
In a statement following the meeting, al-Tureiki stressed the support of the AL to the Egyptian- Libyan initiative to achieve peace and stability for the Sudanese people, noting that there are current consultations to convene a summit including Egypt, Sudan, Libya and Kenya with the aim to give a push forward to the efforts made to establish peace in Sudan.
