Jordan, Algeria sign cargo agreement

Jordan and Algeria signed in Amman Tuesday a sea cargo and ports cooperation agreement, meant to upgrade the marine shipping sector and the sea transport industries to the international standard.
The agreement provides for cooperation and exchange of officers, engineers and sailors as well as coordination as to marine inspection, direction and rescue, pollution control and protection of marine environment as well as exchange of information to secure safety.
It was signed by Jordanian minister of transport Nader Aldhahabi and Algerian ambassador Hamid Shbeira.
