Morocco-Spain, Economics, 7/25/2001

Morocco and Spain signed in Madrid this Wednesday an agreement regulating the flow of labor, aimed to fight the exploitation of illegal workers.

The document was initialed by Morocco's minister of employment, vocational training, social development and solidarity, Abbas El Fassi, and Spain's deputy-premier and interior minister, Mariano Rajoy.

The agreement provides for the creation of a commission to select candidates who will be delivered legal stay documents and work contracts in Spain.
