Hamas and Mashaal

An official source in the Hamas movement denied in an exclusive statement to the Jordanian weekly al-Majd issued on Monday the fabricated news on reformation of the political bureau of the movement on the ground of expelling Khaled Mashaal from the presidency of this office under the pretext of his return back to Jordan.

The source stressed that Mashaal is still a chairman for the political bureau of the Hamas movement and will stay in this post until the end of his term of office.

The source said that despite Mashaal's pride in his Jordanian nationality and his persistence to return back to Jordan, yet he will keep on committed to his leading responsibilities in Hamas.
